Thepositionfor Senior Project Managertakesfullresponsibilityforavarietyofelectrical , frommarketingthroughprojectcloseoutandcustomerfollowup.
Qualified candidates will haveasuccessfultrackrecorddemonstratingacompleteunderstandingofproject management responsibilities,includingprofit,supervision,customer relations,fiscal, andcontractmanagement.
- Supervisemultiple Project Managerswhoaremanagingmultipleprojects .
- Manageupto $30million-dollarelectricalconstructionprojectsormultiplelarge projects simultaneously.
- Decision-makingresponsibilityconcerningprojectcost,timeandperformance.
- Accountabilityforprojectplanning,execution,jobcosttracking,andjobclosure.
- Providemonthlyprojectstatusdetailandpercentofcompletionreports.
- Monitorandcontrolprojectthroughadministrativedirectionofon-siteforemen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Initiateandmaintainliaisonwithownersandothercontacts to facilitate project activities.
- Planaheadtopreventproblemsandresolveanyemergingones.
- Interfacingwithcontractors,vendorsandin-houseoperations.
- Cross-sellingofothercompanyoperationsthroughfullyintegratedsolutions.
- Supportinganinjuryfreeworkenvironmentandsafetyculture.
- Minimum
15years’ experienceinselling,estimating,andmanaging multi-million dollar Industrial Construction or Advanced Technology projects. - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineeringplus
10years’ construction project experience; or in lieu of degree, 5 years' experience as an Electrical Foreman or General Foreman on large projects, plus 10 years as a Project Manager required. - Provenrecordofsuccessfulrelationshipsandmarketingskills,preferred.
- Superiorknowledgeofelectricalcodesandconstructionmethods,required.
- Musthaveproven experience managing
100k+man-hourprojects. - Provenexperiencewithheavypowerdistributionsystems, instrumentation installation, and process control and system integration, required.
- Thorough appliedknowledgeofproject QA/QC procedures and system turnover.
- Abilitytodemonstrateahigh level of competency in labor, material, and contract management.
- Competency in earned-value tracking, labor efficiency index, and crew composite factors.
- Proven ability to complete a detailed take-off and all required estimating for electrical projects.
- Relevant experience in electrical subcontracting is a must.
Salaryrangeforthispositionis $150,000-$185,000annually.
Opportunityforadiscretionaryyear-endbonus.
