Clinic Nurse Supervisor –
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic
Join us in Hermiston, OR to lead nursing and medical assistant staff at a leading community health center serving Washington and Oregon.
Position Details:

- $96,242.17 – $ DOE, with potential higher earnings
- Additional pay for bilingual skills
- $9,500.00 Hiring Bonus Structure:
- On Hire: $2,850.00
- At 180 days (6 months): $3,800.00
- At 12 months: $2,850.00
- Bonus pro‑rated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)

- Coach, mentor and train direct report staff, assess competencies, provide continuous performance management, conduct evaluations, give feedback and address performance issues.
- Support staff growth and development; assess educational, clinical and communication needs; encourage pursuit of educational opportunities.
- Collaborate with Nursing and Medical Assistant staff to create and implement education initiatives for clinical performance and communication.
- Participate in recruitment and selection; provide orientation on job requirements, policies, procedures and tool usage.
- Develop and implement annual department work plan forecasting equipment needs and capacity requirements.
- Delegate, assign and coordinate work for efficient workflow aligning with departmental mission.
- Monitor staff compliance with clinic policies and standards (HIPAA, TJC, OSHA).
- Collaborate with clinic and maintenance staff to maintain facilities and equipment.
- Lead Nursing and Medical Assistant staff in daily implementation of patient care plans and workflows meeting state/federal requirements.
- Review and improve patient care processes; evaluate adherence.
- Perform other duties as assigned and clinical responsibilities aligning with TJC, HRSA, and YVFWC requirements.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. - Two years’ experience in nursing or healthcare operations; one year in Nursing Supervisory capacity preferred.
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- If RN license is in NLC state: must submit proof of license, suicide prevention training, update primary state within 60 days, etc.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred;
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; must demonstrate level 10 proficiency for differential pay.
- Proficiency with EMR, Word, Excel; strong verbal, written, listening, problem‑solving, judgment, conflict resolution and multi‑tasking skills.
