Occupational Therapist
Regency Hermiston and Rehabilitation Center offers Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Services while focusing on the unique qualities of each individual in a compassionate and caring environment. Their experienced team of nursing, dietary, social services, therapy, therapeutic recreation, and certified nursing assistants provide physician-directed care, based on the needs of each individual. Their programs offer a full range of treatments when recovering from a serious injury, illness, or surgery.
Through collaboration with the resident, their family, medical providers, and their staff, they develop a personalized plan that promotes faster recovery so the resident can return home sooner.
Occupational Therapist
- Responsibilities (listed are included but not limited to):
- Shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and other items and services necessary to effectively evaluate and provide occupational therapy services.
- Services shall be provided onsite.
- Shall provide ongoing therapy to patients in treatment as identified by their specific plan.
- Provide prompt completion and delivery of evaluation reports.
- If requested to, will attend all Initial Eligibility meetings to review evaluation results.
- All evaluation reports will be completed within 30 calendar days.
- Following the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as set forth by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc.
- Adhering to all facility, PM&Rs, Occupational Therapy policies and procedures.
- Demonstrating a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with patients, families, and co-workers, using tact sensitivity, sound judgment and professional attitudes.
- Communicating with customers (e.g., Veterans, family members, and the general public), coworkers and supervisors in a courteous, tactful, friendly and cooperative manner.
- Working with a great deal of independence in planning and carrying out complex treatment routines, adapting treatment procedures and changing or modifying treatment plans, with prior approval from the supervisor.
Occupational Therapist
- Requirements:
- A degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the current state of Oregon.
- Must meet Clinical Competency standards.
- Current CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
