Overview
Radiology Technologist – Mammography in Hermiston, Oregon. This travel assignment starts 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week on days shift in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,839 to $2,933 per week.

Hospital environment (travel assignment)
- Perform diagnostic radiography procedures with emphasis on mammography imaging for breast anatomy visualization
- Corroborate patient clinical history with the procedure and document information for licensed practitioners
- Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions, obtain cooperation, and minimize anxiety
- Set up and operate radiography equipment; position patient and equipment to best demonstrate the area of interest
- Immobilize patients as required and ensure proper identification and labeling of images
- Determine radiographic exposure factors to minimize dose and maintain image quality
- Assist licensed practitioners during procedures; verify informed consent for interventional procedures
- Practice aseptic techniques and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients during procedures
- Support required education and training relevant to the assignment; participate in program education as applicable
- Floating to other departments may occur when qualified and necessary, following policy and scope of practice
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program - Licenses/
Certifications:
OBMI licensed and ARRT registered Mammography Technologist; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Experience:
None required; 2 years of experience preferred - Additional: CRASE training required if the travel assignment extends beyond 6 months
- Physical/working ability:
Must be able to work in a hospital environment, handle the physical demands of imaging procedures, and comply with safety and PPE protocols
- Travel assignment support from a dedicated recruiter and travel team
- Standard hospital credentialing and onboarding support
- Access to assignment-specific orientation and education as required
- Support for maintaining certifications and compliance through the duration of the assignment
