EEG Technician – Hermiston,OR

Local Pay: $46.47/hour

Travel Pay: $19.61/hour

(W2)

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours):
Hrly $19.61 Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00,

Total Comp :$2,030.40

Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:
  • M-Th 700-1700

  • 40 hours /week

EEG Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • The EEG technician performs adult/pediatric standard and ambulatory

  • Electroencephalograms (EEGs).

  • This person will be responsible for the performance of EEGs in a

  • competent and efficient manner.

  • They will ensure accurate patient assessments, patient education and

  • quality data acquisition.

  • The individual will be responsible for maintenance of all lab equipment,infection control, patient safety, and an effective quality assurance program.

  • Thorough documentation,

  • Creation of concise preliminary reports, accurate billing and processing of interpreted study reports will also be done by this individual.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years’ experience performing EEG’s

  • Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Providers

  • An active, current state license.

  • Additional certifications may be required

  • Copy of current, completed

    Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
