** Shift Details:*
* + 6pm-6am
+ 36 hours / week
** Polysomnographer /Sleep Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
*
* + Perform polysomnography, MSLT, and MWT studies, including patient setup, data acquisition, staging, and scoring.
+ Accurately score sleep studies according to AASM guidelines and identify sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, arrhythmias, and artifacts.
+ Apply electrodes using the International 10-20 System and ensure proper signal quality.
+ Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep diagnostic equipment.
+ Fit and dispense CPAP/BiPAP equipment, administer oxygen/CPAP per physician orders, and educate patients and families.
+ Collect and accurately document patient information, study results, billing, and patient activity.
+ Maintain infection control, safety, emergency preparedness, and equipment standards.
+ Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
+ Participate in continuing education, competency activities, and training of new staff.
+ Follow hospital policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*
* + Current, valid, and unrestrictedOR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
+ Graduate of an accredited polysomnography program or respiratory therapy program.
+ Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep specialty (RRT-SDS).
+ CRASE training:
If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required.
+ Recent experience in polysomnography.
+ Additional certifications may be required.
+ Copy of current, completed
Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
+ Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
