Network Deploy Technician , Global Network Delivery; GND

• Scale support of several data center locations and day-to-day capacity management.
• Assist in project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.
• Provide management and support of AWS’s network infrastructure, establish best practices, and refine procedures.
• Coordinate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth projects.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues (patch panels, patch cords).
• Specifying power and cooling requirements and ensuring hardware racking/stacking for new equipment.
• Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in a 24/7 environment, participate in primary responder rotation and after-hours support when needed.
• Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
• Perform bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.

Travel within and outside the regional work area is required. A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are necessary.

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
