Datacenter Technician

Contract:

6+ Months, extension possible Rate Range: $24 – $26/hr on W2
** Candidate can choose shift

• Schedule flexibility required, including potential night shift positions
• Shift options include Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• First two weeks:
  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (Training)

As a Data Center Technician , you serve as one of many primary resolvers for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic networking knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP (1+ years)
• Familiarity with hardware components inside a server/computer (1+ years)
• Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
• Basic Linux/Unix command line knowledge
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required

• High school or equivalent diploma
• (Optional) CompTIA, CompTIA+

• Must successfully pass through metal detection equipment daily
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Capability to work in various environmental conditions
• Temperature fluctuations dependent on seasonal changes and external weather conditions
