Infrastructure Delivery Rack Migration Technician, Global Data Center Operations (GDCO)

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and perform patching between equipment.
• Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside of the assigned regional work area; maintain a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 or more pounds.
• Work in a 24/7 environment and be available for primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely without limitation.

• Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
• Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility is operational.
• Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of the assigned facility.
• Must be able to travel 50 miles or more or commute less than 50 miles to active data center sites.
• Must be a U.S. citizen when assigned to AWS Gov Cloud region; logical access will be restricted to U.S. citizens.
• Eligible candidates may receive a lump‑sum relocation stipend.

• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• 1+ year of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in computer networking.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

• Work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking, stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).

The base salary range for this position is 30.00 – 54.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
