Line 1 Processing Technician is a safety‑focused, team‑oriented and target‑driven role that supports all areas of L1 processing on a rotating schedule. This position provides a solid career path for future leaders of Lamb Weston.

• Actively participate in Lamb Weston Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice programs.
• Conduct process quality checks as per procedure and by request of Production Lead, Team Leader Production, Team Leader Quality, Team Leader Area Production, and Line Structure Team.
• Perform daily management system standards per schedule, including CILs, FSILs, CLs, and defect handling.
• Operate cohesively with Line 1 Process Technician teammates to manage the entire L1 Process area from evenflows through the L1 fryer.
• Engage in scheduled AMD activities.
• Maintain training and qualification in L1 Processing, ADR, and Fryer positions.
• Hold required sanitation qualification; additional training will be provided.
• Hold lock‑out/tag‑out qualification; training will be provided if needed.
• Read, understand, and adhere to all plant rules and safety policies as specified in the Lamb Weston Employee Handbook.
• Practice proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• English communication skills (written and oral).
• 1‑2 years of experience in food manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Team player.
• Capable of troubleshooting and critical thinking.
• Basic PC proficiency:
  Windows, Word, and Excel.

• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Work in a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold temperatures.
• Perform repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements.
• Work with hands and arms overhead; work in or under equipment.
• Operate work‑related equipment.
• Required vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and adjustable focus.
