Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with current Oregon RN license, BLS, and ACLS for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Position is located in an interventional radiology and cardiology setting
- Patients undergo angiography, embolization, cardiac catheterization, and other minimally invasive procedures
- Day shifts from 09:00 to 17:30
- On-call coverage may be required for the interventional unit
- Works collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Uses infusion pumps, PCA pumps, and various medical equipment
- Responsibilities include specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional or minimally invasive procedures
- Acts as patient advocate and supervises assigned personnel
- Provides age-specific, culturally competent care supporting physical and psychosocial wellbeing
- Reports to Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader
- Bilingual English-Spanish ability preferred
- Open to local candidates
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Active RN license in the State of Oregon required; license required if applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 1 year experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology
- 3 years of interventional radiology or cath lab experience preferred
- Experience with conscious sedation and monitor role preferred
- Certifications like RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale, or IV certification are preferred
- Evidence of continuing education appropriate to skill level and area of practice
