As an Operating Room Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Surgical Services leadership team to ensure the smooth operation of the OR department. You will be responsible for managing both the operational and fiscal aspects of the OR, ensuring that patient care is safe and evidence-based practices are integrated into daily operations.

• Coordinate and supervise intraoperative nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
• Manage OR areas operationally and fiscally, assisting in budget development
• Ensure OR personnel provide safe patient care and adhere to evidence-based practices
• Facilitate educational resources and hold personnel accountable for training completion
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with the perioperative team
• Collect and analyze data for performance improvement projects
• Evaluate OR personnel performance and assist in personnel selection
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
• Provide guidance and constructive feedback to the surgical team
• Maintain nursing guidelines by updating policies and procedures
• Act as a patient advocate, maintaining privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Education Required:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing;
  Preferred:
  Master of Science in Nursing
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CNOR
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years in operating room or ambulatory surgery center; experience in specialties such as robotics, ortho, urology, general surgery, GYN, neuro, ERCP, and vascular
• Preferred:
  Previous Manager experience and ION robot experience
