Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality ER nursing care during night shifts to stabilize patients.
  • Monitor vitals, respond to changes, and elevate as needed using clinical protocols.
  • Accurately triage and assess patients upon arrival and assign priorities.
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records.
  • Contribute to performance metrics by documenting outcomes and achieving nightly targets.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
  • Maintain professional growth by pursuing ongoing learning and competency development.
  • Support on-site leadership in shift handoffs and maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Utilize nursing pipelines and data to forecast patient load and staffing needs.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care.
What you must have
  • Strong critical thinking and emergency assessment skills
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
