Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The RN PACU is responsible for providing expert care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical or diagnostic procedures. You’ll monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure safe recovery and transition to the next phase of care.

• Provide direct nursing care to post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs, airway, and pain management.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and initiate emergency interventions when necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by anesthesiologists or surgeons.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital and regulatory standards.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BSN preferred; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required (or within 6 months of hire).
• Minimum 1–2 years of critical care or PACU experience preferred.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond quickly in critical situations.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
