Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Holiday rotation: B 7:00pm-7:30am
Definition of position:
Provides patient care in the intensive care unit. Communicates with the care team about any changes in patients' clinical conditions. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition. Performs general nursing duties across departments with supervision. Performs complete and accurate documentation of care in the patient's electronic medical record.

Essential job functions:
Perform a variety of duties often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Accept responsibility for the direction, control, planning, of the plan of care for the patient. Make evaluations and decisions based on measurable or verifiable criteria. Work independently. Recognize the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality. Convey empathy and compassion to both patients and coworkers.
Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation. Communicate effectively and therapeutically with patients and their friends, family, and caregivers. Ability to provide care for the patient's age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being. The employee supports the hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures. Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position (reference program education curriculum).

Qualifications
Education:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice. Desired: BSN

Previous clinical experience. Licenses, certifications, and/or registrations:
Current RN license in the state of Oregon; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required. Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty may be preferred.
