Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
- Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring that critical cases are attended first.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as per physician orders and perform emergency procedures.
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and responses to care in electronic health records or paper charts as required.
- Provide patients and families with education on diagnoses, procedures, and follow-up care instructions.
