Position: Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)—Travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 07/27/2026 for a 13-week engagement. 3x12 rotating shift with day/evening flexibility options (0700, 0900, 1100, 1300, or 1500). Weekly pay ranges $1,936 to $2,092 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Setting:
Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments on arrival, including vitals, history, and current symptoms; perform triage to prioritize acuity
  • Administer medications and IV fluids per physician orders; perform emergency procedures as needed
  • Monitor patient status continuously; adjust interventions based on response to treatment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to coordinate care
  • Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the health record
  • Respond to rapid response, code blue, and other emergent situations; provide patient advocacy and education to patients and families
Requirements
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN desired
  • Licenses/Certifications:

    Current RN license in Oregon; ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required; CRASE training if travel extends beyond 6 months
  • Experience:

    None required; prior clinical experience preferred
  • Skills/Abilities:
    Strong clinical and critical thinking skills; effective communication and teamwork; ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced ED environment; comfortable handling a diverse patient population and varying acuity
  • Physical/Clinical setting:
    Ability to work long shifts (12 hours) and manage physical demands of emergency care; ability to function in a 24/7 ED environment
