American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift surgical unit position requiring at least two years of experience and multiple certifications.

• Surgical unit setting providing direct care to adult pre- and post-surgical patients
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Assignment length of 20 weeks
• Floating to other departments required where qualified

• Active Oregon RN license required
• Minimum two years of nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• CRASE training required if assignment extends beyond six months

• Responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Initiates computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission
• Provides age-specific, culturally sensitive, and psychosocial patient care
• Supports hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures
• Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position
