Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology / Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) Hermiston, OR. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing invasive interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization. The RN works collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, monitoring patients during moderate sedation, managing contrast allergies, and supporting the procedural team.
The work schedule is primarily days with a shift time of 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with a minimum of 30 hours per week starting from August 31, 2026.

Days, 10 hours shifts (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) with a minimum of 30 hours per week. - Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS and ACLS certifications; at least one year of experience in critical care, emergency, catheterization laboratory, or interventional radiology. - Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications such as RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale, IV certification; three or more years of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab; conscious sedation training; monitor role experience; bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus. - Essential Job Functions:
Administer medications, assist with sterile procedures, act as patient advocate, recognize and respond to complications, collaborate with radiology technologists and physicians, monitor patients during moderate sedation, serve as scrub and monitor role as assigned, assist with pre- and post-procedure patient preparation, manage supplies, and ensure room turnover efficiency. - Additional Information:
The RN may be on call for the interventional unit as needed. The role entails directing and supervising personnel, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and actively communicating with team members during procedures.
