Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Occupational Health & Safety
Site Safety Manager in Boardman, OR.
Responsibilities- Works hand in hand with the site management team focusing on maintaining a safe workplace and establishing policies and procedures for other workers.
- Conducts safety meetings, audits, and implements follow‑up assessments.
- Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
- Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at project site locations.
- Provides the project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirms the project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serves as the primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
- Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
- Provides technical support to the project manager team.
- Participates in team meetings and provides regular on‑site project presence.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in large‑scale commercial or industrial project management, including at least 3 years of management‑level safety professional experience.
- Current certification in CPR and OSHA 30‑hour construction safety.

They may be occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
This position may have supervisory responsibilities.
