The Sales Professional is directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. The Sales Professional will realize that the business is built on customer satisfaction, customer retention, and will devote themselves to guaranteeing satisfaction for the customers. A successful candidate for the Sales Professional position will have prior experience in customer service and sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Attend daily sales meetings during scheduled days.
- Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers.
- Report to Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses.
- Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
- Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.
- Attend classes and take certain tests throughout the year to maintain training certification.
- Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
- Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
The Sales Professional will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service and parts department, and offices) for most of the shift. They will spend time outdoors showing vehicles to prospective customers and driving vehicles in traffic during test drives. Evening, some holidays and weekend work hours are required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily.
