Mobile Field Service Technician
REIC Rentals is hiring an experienced Mobile Field Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently in the field, diagnosing and repairing equipment directly at customer job sites. As a Mobile Field Service Technician, you will operate a company service truck and travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of heavy equipment.
A Class A CDL is preferred but not required. If you have strong hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical troubleshooting experience and take pride in fixing equipment right the first time, we'd love to hear from you.

- On-call rotation required

- Safely operate a company service truck to travel to customer job sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine issues.
- Perform field repairs to minimize customer downtime.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and aerial lift equipment.
- Diagnose electrical systems using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair hydraulic systems, including cylinders, pumps, valves, motors, and hoses.
- Perform preventative maintenance and rental-ready inspections.
- Complete annual ANSI/OSHA inspections on applicable equipment.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Accurately complete work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck.
- Provide outstanding customer service while representing REIC Rentals in the field.
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
- Experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, or aerial lift equipment.
- Strong hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
- Experience using diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment preferred."
