Roll Off CDL Driver
Sanitary Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a highly motivated Roll Off CDL Driver in Hermiston, OR.
Working schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday 5:00am-3:30pm OR (when route is completed, generally 9-11 hrs/day) with overtime often.
Starting wage is $30.50 per hour.

- In this position you will be operating a Roll off truck on a specified route to deliver and pickup drop boxes.
- Must be able to drive manual transmission.
- Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route Tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
- Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
- Operating truck to deliver roll off box and pick up roll off boxes.
- The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which require following basic safety precautions.
- The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement. Must have no restrictions and be able to drive interstate.
- Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
- Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre-and post-trip inspections.
