Position: Neuro Physical Therapist (PT)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

No weekends
* No holidays
* No on-call

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments

+ Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress

+ Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning

+ Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team

+ Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants

+ Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education

+ Rotate through treatment areas as needed

+ Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development

+ May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents

+ Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

+ Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service.

+ Outpatient experience, preferred

+ Neuro experience, preferred

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Active license in practicing state required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

+ Physical Therapist (PT)

+ Act 33 with renewal

+ Act 34 with renewal

+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
