Maintenance Technician

A leading manufacturing facility is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. In this hands-on role, you diagnose complex mechanical issues, work extensively with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and support critical manufacturing processes. Candidates with strong mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment will thrive, and an HVAC background is highly preferred due to the level of systems troubleshooting involved.

Experience with CNC machinery and industrial electrical systems is a strong plus. The hiring process is straightforward and does not include hands-on maintenance testing during interviews.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment throughout the facility to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in production processes.
• Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose equipment failures accurately and implement effective corrective actions.
• Minimize production downtime through efficient troubleshooting, timely repairs, and proactive maintenance practices.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders clearly and accurately within the maintenance system.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and company policies while performing maintenance work.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to prioritize work and support critical operations.
• Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and PPE while working around moving machinery and industrial equipment.

• Demonstrated maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability with complex production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
• Ability to perform maintenance repair work in a heavy industrial setting.
• Basic electrical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting skills, including working with 3-phase power.
• Ability to perform PLC troubleshooting at a basic level to support equipment diagnostics.
• Comfort working with industrial equipment, welding tasks as needed, and mechanical systems in a production environment.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• HVAC experience, particularly in troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC systems in an industrial setting.
• CNC maintenance experience, including diagnosing and repairing CNC machinery.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience beyond basic maintenance tasks.
• Experience working in heavy industrial, metals, forging, or machining environments.
• Ability to interpret complex schematics and electrical diagrams.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with maintenance and production teams.
• Organizational skills to manage work orders, documentation, and maintenance schedules.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts and adapt to a 4-on/4-off schedule.
