As we continue to scale rapidly, we are seeking a Senior Media Buyer to strengthen our Media team and support our expanding portfolio of performance marketing clients.
The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Media Buyer who is hands‑on, analytical, and passionate about performance‑driven digital media. This role is central to Strand’s media execution, responsible for managing and optimizing campaigns across a wide range of digital channels.
As part of the Media team, you’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day campaign setup, pacing, and optimization, while also testing new platforms, supporting strategy, and uncovering scalable growth opportunities. You’ll work closely with Media Growth Managers, the Director of Digital Media Growth & Development, and cross‑functional teams to ensure campaigns are profitable, efficient, and aligned with client KPIs.
Responsibilities- Execute, manage, and optimize media buys across multiple performance channels (affiliate, native, CTV, influencer, lead aggregators, direct buys, etc.)
- Own campaign setup including targeting, creative trafficking, budget pacing, and tracking implementation
- Monitor performance daily and adjust bids, budgets, and creative variables to meet CPA and ROI goals
- Run structured testing (A/B, multivariate, traffic source testing) to identify scalable opportunities
- Analyze campaign data and report actionable insights to account and media leadership
- Collaborate with Media Growth Managers and the Director on emerging platform testing and scale strategies
- Manage publisher and vendor relationships, ensuring proper campaign pacing, performance, and troubleshooting
- Track key client KPIs (CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, LTV) and deliver performance narratives and recommendations
- Maintain compliance with brand, tracking, and vendor standards
- Mentor junior media staff or coordinate with contractors as needed
- Have 4+ years of hands‑on experience managing and optimizing performance‑based digital campaigns
- Be comfortable in the details – setting up, troubleshooting, and scaling campaigns across multiple channels
- Possess a strong analytical mindset, with experience in A/B testing and data‑driven decision making
- Be proficient with tracking and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Domo/Tableau/Looker, Impact, CJ, Rakuten, etc.)
- Understand campaign‑level P&L management and how to track profitability and ROI
- Communicate clearly and confidently with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
This role is based in our beautiful Hermosa Beach office and follows Strand’s hybrid model: in‑office Tuesday through Thursday, with WFH Mondays and WFH + Half Day Fridays year‑round.
