Cost Accountant

Description Position Summary

Litco International is looking to add a highly motivated Cost Accountant to our team based out of Vienna, OH. We are seeking a professional, organized, detail oriented, self‑starter with a strong work ethic that enjoys being a team player. The Cost Accountant works directly with the accounting team and other stakeholders to accurately record and track all day‑to‑day financial transactions on a corporate level for multiple companies.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in manufacturing and will be familiar with common accounting practices and accounting software programs. Prior inventory experience within a manufacturing setting is a must. The Cost Accountant supports the accounting team to maintain accurate and efficient financial records daily. Integrity and attention to detail are a must.

• Record day‑to‑day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Reconciliation of all accounts at the end of each month
• Process accounts receivable
• Monitor/Track inventory levels, inputting counts and making adjustments as necessary
• Creating journal entries for accounts, including fixed assets
• Process inter‑company paperwork and billing
• Bank Reconciliations
• Reconciling cash, bank accounts, and other GL accounts
• Collect receivables promptly and make deposits
• Sales Tax preparation and Payroll tax filing audit quarterly
• Other office/admin duties as assigned
• Infrequent travel may be required to conduct multi‑company plant visits in Ohio, Mississippi, and South Carolina locations

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting related field required
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing related field required
• At least 2 years of inventory experience in manufacturing
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Must be able to prepare, review and understand all financial statements
• Epicor/ERP experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and accounting software
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to receive and follow specific instructions and procedures given by multiple individuals
• Must be able to maintain confidential records and information
