Time-limited (NS-14) PositionThis is a time-limited (NS-14) nursing assistant position located at the State Veterans Home at Tradition in Biloxi, MS. This Third-level Support Care role is accountable for taking vital signs, assisting with care plan activities, observing and reporting patient conditions and behaviors, and participating in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. The employee may mentor or direct lower-level staff, communicate with doctors, patients, and families, educate patients on care, provide transport to off-site appointments, and apply restraints when necessary.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
Preferred QualificationsTypically requires a high school diploma or high school equivalency, and 2–3 years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
