A growing national Hotel Management Group seeks an experienced Hotel Controller/Director of Finance with significant hotel experience for a Marriott property in the Herndon, VA area. • Salary: $100,000 to $120,000

• Assist accountants with month‑end close.
• Coordinate year‑end information transfer to the CPA of all entities.
• Report revenue by the 3rd of each month.
• Send payroll to the bank for wire transfer and obtain approval.
• Review all sales bonus payouts, ensuring proper verified backup is on file and approved.
• Execute weekly A/P email report & reconciliation.
• Review A/P open‑item reports weekly for invoices to be paid.
• Generate cash forecasts.
• Initiate review of financial statements of accountants, provide trend reports; note any questions and return to the accountant to research.

• Preferred: bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of five years of related experience, or one year as a controller; a combination of education and experience equivalent to a B.A. or B.S. in accounting is preferred.
• Must possess organizational ability and the capability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Working knowledge of all areas of accounting (A/R, A/P, payroll, collections, inventory control, credit, etc.).
• Prior hotel accounting experience is a must.
