Job DescriptionVantor is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team. The role supports accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large, multi‑company, multi‑state and global workforce of about 2,000 employees. Responsibilities include payroll data validation, processing support, compliance activities, audits, reporting, and employee support while ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable federal, state, local and international payroll regulations.
Early‑career candidates may be considered if they demonstrate desired qualifications.
- Support bi‑weekly, monthly and off‑cycle payroll processing for U.S. multi‑state employees and international payroll populations using external payroll provider systems.
- Review payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, equity transactions, and employee deductions. Validate payroll inputs and outputs for accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Assist with payroll reconciliations and resolution of payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, direct deposit, etc.
- Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, and Finance to resolve payroll‑related issues.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Two years of experience may substitute for a degree.

- ADP and/or Workday experience.
Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates meeting the minimum requirements should not expect compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
- The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $61,000.00 – $81,000.00 – $89,100.00 annually.
- The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $67,000.00 – $89,000.00 – $97,900.00 annually.
For all other states, geographic cost of labor is used to develop market‑driven ranges for roles, which may vary by location.
