This is an opportunity to join a highly visible Revenue Accounting team and work directly with the Director of Revenue Accounting on technical accounting matters, revenue recognition, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives that impact the business.
Position OverviewThe Revenue Manager will serve as a technical accounting resource focused on complex revenue recognition matters, ASC 606 compliance, contract reviews, internal controls, and process optimization. This role partners closely with FP&A, Billing Operations, IT, and Corporate Accounting while helping strengthen and scale the company's revenue accounting function.

Responsibilities- Review customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting memorandums for complex revenue matters
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX 404(b), and internal control requirements
- Reconcile project accounting activity to the general ledger
- Partner with FP&A and Billing Operations to improve forecasting and reporting
- Assist with revenue analytics, reporting enhancements, and process automation initiatives
- Support quarterly and annual financial audits
- Contribute to SEC revenue disclosures and other financial reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements and automation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of accounting experience with significant hands‑on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience
- Strong technical accounting and contract review experience
- Public company experience preferred
- CPA preferred but not required
- Professional services, engineering, consulting, or project-based accounting experience is highly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with project-based ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint or similar) is a plus
