Project Coordinator

Location:

Herndon, VA

Pay From: $25.00 per hour

Must-have qualifications
  • Experienced Project Coordinator
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Prior office relocation or workplace move experience
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional, proactive, detail-oriented
  • Experience in regulated or Gov Con environments is a plus
Duties
  • Provide project coordination services for an office relocation within Herndon, VA.
  • The Coordinator will manage planning, execution, and close-out of the move, serving as the central point of contact across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Serve as primary coordinator for all move activities.
  • Build and manage move timelines, task lists, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate movers, furniture vendors, IT providers, and building management.
  • Support furniture selection, layout coordination, delivery, and installation.
  • Oversee move-day logistics and post-move stabilization.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Contracts, Security, IT, and Operations to align responsibilities and timelines.
  • Manage compliance and address changes across jurisdictions, vendors, government clients, and applicable oversight bodies (including DCSA and SBA).
  • Maintain a master tracker for filings, notifications, and updates.
  • Coordinate IT readiness (network, conference room, workstations, printers) and service setup (internet, utilities, access systems).
  • Provide regular status updates and proactively identify risks.
