Description We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Herndon, Virginia. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary contact at the front desk, greeting visitors and assisting with inquiries.

- Manage multi-line phone systems, including answering calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.

- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and file organization.

- Ensure the security of the building by monitoring visitor access and adhering to established protocols.

- Coordinate concierge services to support staff and visitors with various needs.

- Maintain office supplies and ensure the front desk area stays clean and organized.

- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to create reports, manage communications, and update records.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

- Address customer service needs with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.

- Assist in onboarding processes, including setting up workstations and granting access. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in administrative or front desk roles.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with visitors and team members.

- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and building security procedures.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
