Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist for a contract/temporary opportunity in Herndon, VA. This role is ideal for an organized administrative professional who enjoys being the first point of contact in a polished office environment and takes pride in creating a positive experience for visitors, vendors, employees, and internal teams. The Receptionist will support daily front‑desk operations, manage incoming calls, assist with scheduling, and help maintain an efficient and welcoming workplace.

- Greet and assist visitors, vendors, employees, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls, route inquiries appropriately, and take accurate messages.
- Manage visitor sign‑in procedures, coordinate access, and support front‑desk security protocols.
- Schedule meetings and appointments using Microsoft Outlook.
- Coordinate with Executive Assistants and Facilities teams to support office operations, visitor needs, and scheduling requirements.
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and maintaining reception and common areas.
- Pay rate: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
