We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Administrator to support daily legal operations in Reston, Virginia. This contract position with potential for permanency is ideal for someone who can keep case materials organized, coordinate deadlines, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong administrative judgment, comfort with court-related documentation, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize legal files to ensure documents are accurate, current, and easy to retrieve.
• Prepare, submit, and track electronic filings and other court-related documentation in accordance with required procedures and deadlines.
• Coordinate calendars for legal matters, including hearings, filing dates, meetings, and other time-sensitive events.
• Update and manage information within case management software to support matter progress and reporting accuracy.
• Review legal documents for completeness before submission and follow up on missing items when needed.
• Monitor upcoming deadlines and communicate schedule changes or priority items to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Support administrative legal workflows by handling documentation, status tracking, and record maintenance across active matters.
