Position ResponsibilitiesThe Solution Architect supports both Deltek Gov Con Sales and Professional Services by matching Deltek solutions to customer requirements, performing functional analyses, and providing guidance on Deltek products. The role leads high‑visibility consulting engagements, and interfaces with clients up to the C level by acting as a visionary and strategist for a specific set of products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serves as a key strategic and technical advisor for opportunities, making recommendations based on customer requirements and solution capabilities
- Partnering with Account Executives in and pre‑sales strategy discussions and evaluating prospects from a business process perspective
- Delivering product demonstrations for enterprise prospects and existing customers.
- Conducting reviews of customers’ Deltek product usage and providing guidance on process optimization
- Continuously learning new products and maintaining strong knowledge of relevant software
- Mentors and trains peers on applications and methodologies
- Actively supporting the corporation’s Win Strategy
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive hands‑on experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with government contracting or project‑based organizations.
- Strong functional background in business process, enterprise applications, and AI.
- Familiarity with Costpoint BI/Cognos is highly desirable
- Ability to travel as required.
The U.S. On‑Target‑Earnings (OTE) for this position is $-$. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
