The Permit Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating the issuance of permits from various municipalities in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities include compiling start package documents and posting them for the Community Construction Manager and Trade Partners, maintaining plan files with updated plans, and ensuring payment of all necessary permitting and utility fees. Additional duties include assisting other members of the Operations team to help facilitate timely permits, starts, and closings.
The successful candidate must maintain a valid driver’s license. The ability to read and identify structural options on house plans, along with intermediate-level Excel skills, is preferred. Homebuilding experience and a college degree are also preferred.
