** HOW A SENIOR SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:*
* + Administers subcontracts through pre-award planning, subcontract award, post-award administration, and closeout

+ Documents all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company policy

+ Supports new business activities including issuing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Teaming Agreements (TA), soliciting subcontractor proposals, negotiating subcontractor pricing, and evaluating proposal submissions

+ Performs analysis on proposed subcontractor pricing to ensure price reasonableness

+ Provides advice and interpretation of contract requirements

+ Team player who is willing to jump in and help others Subcontracts Administrators meet critical deadlines and is willing to at times work additional hours to meet mission needs

+ The ability to quickly move from one action to another with a strong memory and attention to detail

+ Generate reports or responses to data calls on subcontract activity as required

+  Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues

+  Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers

+ Participates in special projects as required

+ May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals

** WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:*

** Bachelor's degree

** 5+ years of related experience in contracts, subcontracts administration, supply chain or large procurement activities

** Microsoft Office Suite

* + Effective administrative and organizational skills both written and oral

+ Ability to juggle multiple RFPs and subcontracts status and actions. Effective communication skills

+ Ability to operate and negotiate independently and escalating when necessary

+ Problem solving skills and ability to juggle a volume of different activities on any given day

+ Customer service skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness and highly productive in high stress situations
