Customer Relationship Executive - US Public Sector

In this role, you will:

• Drive Account Growth and Portfolio Success: Own the end-to-end strategy for civilian agencies to maximize market share growth, successfully shifting partnerships from sub-contractor to Prime positions while consistently achieving high proposal win rates and contract renewal rates.
• Collaborate across Senior Leadership and Internal Teams: Act as the strategic liaison between high-ranking agency officials, including the Senior Executive Service, and internal teams—including Sales, Business Line Subject Matter Experts, Operations, Contracts, Legal, and Enterprise Information Technology—to align solutions with agency needs.
• Represent the Brand and Build Market Intelligence: Identify, cultivate, and maintain robust relationships with key government decision-makers by actively representing Iron Mountain at industry days, vendor outreach sessions, and government-sponsored events.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10–15+ years of dedicated experience in the Federal Market (specifically focusing on Civilian Agencies), including at least 5 years of experience in a mid-to-large-size account relationship management role for a Federal contractor.
• Strong knowledge of complex acquisition strategies
  , including General Services Administration schedules, Other Transaction Authorities, and strategic subcontracting to partners and system integrators.
• Proven ability to engage and influence at the C-suite level
  , utilizing an extensive network of current and former senior government leaders alongside the communication skills necessary to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (an active Top Secret security clearance and/or background as a former senior-level government official is highly desirable).
