Salary
: $85,000 - $110,000 with benefits.

The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for identifying hidden risks, redlining agreements, and collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure our subcontracts, RFPs, and staffing agreements align with our business goals and risk tolerance.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and Proposal Oversight:
- Proposal & Subcontract Management (Partnering with the Proposal Team)
- Review, analyze, and identify risks within complex Request for Proposals (RFPs), solicitations, and incoming client subcontracts prior to submission and award.
- Review, draft, and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Identify and mitigate unfavorable commercial terms, including overreaching indemnification, intellectual property creep, unrealistic performance penalties, and unfavorable payment terms (e.g., pay-when-paid clauses).
HR & Staffing Agreements Oversight:
- Review, redline, and negotiate staffing agency agreements, independent contractor agreements, and third-party vendor contracts.
- Guard against restrictive vendor clauses, including exorbitant conversion/poaching fees and unfavorable liability caps.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure agreements comply with relevant labor standards, data privacy requirements, and independent contractor classification guidelines.
Negotiation & Risk Mitigation:
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations, directly interfacing with external clients, vendors, and legal counsel to achieve favorable terms.
- Redline contracts efficiently, translating complex legal language into clear, actionable business options for internal leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Formal legal background highly preferred (e.g., Paralegal Certificate, bachelor’s in legal studies, or equivalent contract certification like CPCM).
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating corporate contracts, subcontracts, and staffing agreements.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and technical writing skills to convey complex contractual obligations clearly.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to spot legal or financial risks and liabilities in complex legal text.
- Technical Software: Microsoft Office Suite and specialized Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, and Bid Management Systems.
- Passing a background check.
