Senior Preconstruction Manager – Mission Critical / Data Centers

I am currently partnered with a leading national general contractor seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join their growing team in Northern Virginia.

This is a confidential opportunity to play a key role in delivering some of the region’s most complex and high-profile construction projects, with a focus on mission critical and data center developments
.

The Senior Preconstruction Manager will oversee projects throughout the full preconstruction lifecycle, from initial pursuit and RFP development through estimating, budgeting, scheduling, risk analysis, procurement, and successful transition into operations.

• Lead preconstruction efforts from project pursuit through buyout and handoff to operations
• Manage RFP responses, estimates, budgets, schedules, and client deliverables
• Review drawings, specifications, and design documents to identify constructability opportunities and risks
• Coordinate with estimating, operations, procurement, scheduling, legal, and project leadership teams
• Develop preliminary construction schedules and cost models
• Evaluate value engineering opportunities and alternative design solutions
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Support successful project execution through effective planning and collaboration

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Strong background in preconstruction, estimating, or project management
• Mission Critical / Data Center experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive successful project pursuits
• Strong understanding of cost, schedule, procurement, and constructability
• $200K–$240K base salary + bonus opportunity
