Traveling MEP Project Manager – Data Centers

Seeking experienced Traveling Project Managers to support the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects across the United States.

We are looking for professionals with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through final turnover.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost controls.
• Coordinate field operations alongside Superintendents to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, design teams, and key stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, providing clear communication on progress, risks, and solutions.
• Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities for mission-critical facilities.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large commercial or mission-critical construction projects.
• Data center, hyper-scale, or other mission-critical experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction management, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to identify project risks and proactively develop solutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States for project assignments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
