Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year
A bit about usWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. - Oversee all stages of project life cycle including planning, execution, and completion.
- Manage and coordinate daily onsite activities, ensuring all work is progressing on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Review and understand architectural drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed, creating a safe work environment for all staff and contractors.
- Manage and resolve any issues, conflicts, or discrepancies that arise during the construction process.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members, providing regular updates on project status.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in base building, retail, tenant improvement, scheduling, budgeting, site management, construction management, construction safety, and building codes.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proficient in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Must hold relevant certifications in construction safety and building codes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
