Student Success Counselor

As a Student Success Coach and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a public school, providing academic, social, and emotional support to help students thrive. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you'll offer in-class support, small-group coaching, and mentoring to build students' skills and confidence. City Year's collaborative, inclusive culture emphasizes social justice, leadership development, and personal growth.

You'll receive training, professional development, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with educators and a diverse Ameri Corps team.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to support academic, social, and emotional growth
• Provide in-class support, small-group tutoring, and homework help
• Track student progress and share updates with teachers and staff
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team to plan and deliver interventions
• Model positive behavior, attendance, and engagement for students
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and leadership development
