AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running across data centers with servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual access for customers. Amazon Web Services is hiring a Product Lifecycle Electrical Engineer with Medium Voltage Switchgear and/or Medium Voltage Transformer experience for our Electrical Products and Services team. The Electrical Products and Services Team is AWS s Data Center Engineering global engineering team, responsible for the design and continuous innovation of products used within our rapidly expanding data center footprint.

The Electrical Products and Services team designs and develops resilient, cost-effective electrical distribution products and systems. As an engineer at Amazon, we are responsible for achieving world-class uptime for our customers, driving continuous advancements, and communicating technical direction to Senior Leadership. Amazon has a global presence. Travel will be necessary but shouldn’t be more than 30%. International support is part of the job, and some international travel may be required. Your contribution could include leading international projects and developing engineering information packages. An understanding of international electrical product design requirements is helpful but not necessary.
