Vantor is looking for Aerospace Analysts to perform high‑fidelity analysis of satellites, aircraft, and their ISR sensor suites for a variety of government and commercial customers. Tasks involve instantiating complex vignettes, architecting studies and trades, developing tools for data analysis, conducting QA/QC checks of simulation inputs and results, and presenting findings to senior‑level decision‑makers and customers.
Work EnvironmentStudies are conducted in support of government and industry customers in the greater Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C./Maryland area. Will work on‑site.
Required Qualifications- US Citizenship with an active or current TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Willing to work on‑site.
- An advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of the theory and applications of astrodynamics, remote sensing, spacecraft design, aerospace systems operations, complex systems integration.
- Experience with the design, development and software implementation of complex mathematical algorithms.
- Ability to develop stand‑alone engineering tools/scripts via Python and/or Excel.
- Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with both clients and teammates to achieve program goals.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the mission.
Base pay for the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $90,000.00 – $ annually. For other states, geographic cost‑of‑labor adjustments apply.
