We are looking for aerospace analysts to conduct simulation analysis for Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) study efforts and influence the design and procurement of future space and airborne systems.
Responsibilities- Perform high‑fidelity simulations of satellites, aircraft, and their ISR sensor suites for government and commercial customers.
- Instantiate complex vignettes and architect studies and trade analyses.
- Develop tools for data analysis, including stand‑alone engineering tools/scripts in Python and/or Excel.
- Conduct detailed Quality Assurance and Quality Control checks of simulation input and results.
- Present findings to senior‑level decision‑makers and customers.
- US Citizenship required with an active or current TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the Greater Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C./Maryland area.
- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of astrodynamics, remote sensing, spacecraft design, aerospace systems operations, and complex systems integration.
- Experience with the design, development, and software implementation of complex mathematical algorithms.
- Ability to develop stand‑alone engineering tools/scripts via Python and/or Excel.
- Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, produce technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the mission.
Base pay ranges from $74,000 to $156,000 annually, depending on geographic market. Benefits include paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
