GVS was first deployed in 2006 and became a Program of Record in 2008. The program’s mission is to provide visualization services that facilitate access to GEOINT data and products in an online, on‑demand environment to agencies across the Federal Government. The GVS suite of services are provided to the community in various formats to allow integration across a wide variety of client technologies and applications.
GVS also provides applications that can be used to visualize GEOINT as well as additional utilities and technologies that aid in visualization.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or STEM related field.
- Deep expertise with Angular, angular migrations, and Type Script; at least 3 years of experience.
- Proven track record working with cross‑functional teams, translating business goals into technical roadmaps, and prioritizing work in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Angular, JavaScript, and Type Script.
- Experience defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and metrics to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment.
- US Citizenship required. Top Secret Clearance required to start the position with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
- Experience working on a Development team within SAFe or other Agile Release Trains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience with Angular migrations.
This position requires a government security clearance. The candidate must be a US Citizen for consideration.
