- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of industry-related experience in mechanical systems design for commercial, government, or multifamily sectors
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and building modeling software such as Trane Trace or eQuest
- Thorough understanding of business and financial principles for consulting projects; familiarity with municipal codes and regulations
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or EIT and LEED accreditation strongly preferred
- Proven innovation, leadership, and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong client relationship management and business development mindset
- Experience mentoring or developing junior staff
- Lead all phases of complex mechanical design projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and design engineers
- Oversee project development, including scoping, budgeting, and technical execution
- Foster client relationships, serve as the primary project contact, and resolve inquiries or technical questions
- Direct the preparation of project documents, specifications, estimates, and reports
- Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Conduct field investigations and provide technical support during construction and project closeout
- Actively participate in business development, marketing meetings, and client presentations
