Automation Engineer - Building Materials - 1714 - FL. Excellent relocation package and company benefits/pension. 10% to 20% bonus, health insurance starting day 1.
Job DescriptionThe Automation Engineer will assist with the development and implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects, production, processing methods through the application of engineering fundamentals and advanced process control tools.
- They will work primarily with Allen Bradley (90% of the time), designing touch screens, troubleshooting, programming, and simple modifications for HMIs.
- 3+ years of experience as a Controls/Automation Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting and modifications of Allen Bradley/Rockwell hardware/software (PLCs, Network, I/O, VFD, and servos).
- Experience troubleshooting and programming HMIs for SCADA systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD for electrical design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required; BSEE preferred).
- Project Management Experience.
- Experience in a World Class Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Gypsum products.
